Shree Padhmanabhaswamy Temple

The Kanakakunnu Palace

Declared as India’s first Digital Garden in a public place, the palace and its sprawling grounds serve as a venue for many cultural meets and festival occasions. The palace, built during the reign of King Sree Mulam Tirunal (1885-1924), was a rendezvous for royal banquets. Napier Museum

Established in 1855, the Napier Museum is a landmark in the city with its unique architectural sign and ornamentation. It’s a mix of Indian, Chinese, Kerala and Mughal Schools of Architecture. The Museum houses a host of historical artifacts. The Japanese shadow-play leather that depicts the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata leaves a good impression on the minds of the visitors. Ponmudi

Translated as the “Golden Peak”, Ponmudi is undoubtedly the most preferred hill-station in Kerala. It’s the most preferred destination for a family as well as for a group of friends for a weekend trip. it’s the rising hotbed of tourist activities. Veli Beach

Veli tourist village is a popular picnic destination in Thiruvananthapuram district. It consists of a large garden on the southern banks of Veli lagoon. Veli tourist village associated with the beach offers boating facilities. A separate Children’s Park and Floating Cafe are added incentives to visit this unique village.Boating in the lake is what attracts a large percentage of tourists visiting Veli. There are 2 boat docks and multiple types of boat rides are offered here.

Thiruvananthapuram Zoo

Thiruvananthapuram Zoo also known as the Trivandrum Zoological Park is one of the oldest Zoo in India. Similarly the Museum and Botanical Gardens are also one of the oldest of their kind in the country. It is a home to 82 species from around the world.There is also a snake farm in the zoo showcasing both poisonous and non-poisonous snakes. The number of species of flora in the entire botanical garden is much higher. The zoo is an ideal "fun with nature" visit.
